When you’ve loved fine linens (and other luxury bed, bath and table choices) as long as all of us at Scheuer Linens have, you learn what matters to customers.
How To Store Linens And Other Fabrics
- When you’re putting linens away for an extended period of time, be sure to clean them first. (We recommend Le Blanc Linen Wash® to safely remove difficult stains from your fine linens.)
- Then, wrap them in muslin or an old cotton pillow case.
- Store them in a cool, dry and preferably dark space.
- Avoid storing your linens and cotton articles in cedar (which yellows them).
- For your wool items, a cedar storage chest is just fine. Consider using moth balls, as well.
