Giants World Series fever has hit San Francisco and we baseball fans at Scheuer Linens are truly excited. So excited that we just had to do something in our front window to help celebrate, so we took a small corner and did a Giants display. We wanted to include at least one or two products in the display that we actually sell and used towels with the Giants colors of orange and black.
The other item is a stuffed toy panda from our children’s section. In case you don’t know, third baseman Pablo Sandoval is lovingly nicknamed the Panda because of his round build. We knew it might happen and it did — people have already come in and wanted to buy one of the pennants hanging on the wall, but those are not for sale at our store.
Some of us will be wearing Giants t-shirts when the World Series starts in San Francisco this Wednesday, the first time in 40 years that I have worn a t-shirt to work. Go Giants!
