Hefel's Pure Silk is the supple, light-weight summer night’s dream made from 100% pure silk produced by freerange Oak Eggars. The naturally cooling properties of natural silk make it the ideal filling for this wonderfully revitalizing summer quilt. The silk used in Pure Silk is decocted and degummed several times using an extremely complex cleaning process in order to remove completely all sericin residues and eliminate the possibility of skin irritation. The silk fleece is very hardwearing despite its delicacy thanks to the evenly spaced quilting design. The high quality Tencel premium satin fabric disperses moisture rapidly, thereby assisting the cooling effect of the silk.
